The story of a photographer

a little about me

My name is Sophak Phol Tep

I was born in Thailand as a refugee to Cambodian parents.

At the age of two, me and my family moved to New Zealand where I grew up and got my passion for Art. Growing up, I was always drawing, painting and taking photos. New Zealand was the perfect place for this with the laid-back lifestyle and green, lush scenery.

Years later, life has led me to Australia where I have settled down in Adelaide with a family of my own and still with a camera in hand.

FAQ

How do you record videos for weddings?

I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I''ll send you a guide to help you organizing your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it''s really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invits...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. That''s why I decided to photograph non-traditional and laid-back wedding.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I''m Adelaide based in South Australia and yes I do travel! If you want me to photograph your story and it will require a travel, there may be a fee, depending on where it takes place.

When will we get our videos?

Your will receive an online link to some sample videos within maximum three weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can expect the photos in a USB delivered to your mailed address within three months.

What is included in my Video?

For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive a 30 - 40min documentary video of the day, starting from prep till the end of the day. I will choose the best and most significant way to tell your story.

How much is the deposit?

We ask for a 10% deposit which is non-refundable, but we are flexible with rescheduling if there is a date available.

Right now we mainly use mirrorless Cameras, such as Sony A7iv and Panasonic S line cameras. We use multiple cameras for different angles. We set up tripods and lighting as needed.
The drone we use is the Mavic Mini Pro 3.
